A walk back from a shack of a bar, up the track that leads to the compound was filled with tiny lights placed around the houses. Of course we had not got the camera so we will have to go out on a sight seeing mission tonight. Some houses had intricate rangoli designs on their porch picked out in coloured powder, lit by tiny oil lamps and decorated with flower petals. The fireworks thrown around somewhat spoiled our walk, especially when one landed at my feet. Much laughter was had at the height that I managed to jump, it was difficult to be angry for too long. Festive greetings to you all….
